The app also facilitates access to each church’s website and social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube), alongside detailed statistics and trends for individual congregations within the PC(USA) framework.
Interactivity is a key component of the app; users can view live streaming of worship services for most churches and set reminders for upcoming events in their calendars. The mapping feature offers various viewing options, including 3D Standard View, 3D Satellite View, and 3D Flyover View, with additional support from Apple’s Look Around functionality for many locations.
Additional features enhance user engagement; these include a brief tutorial to guide new users, local weather updates for each church location, English translations of non-English websites, and the convenience of integrating church contact information into personal Contacts apps. A Share Sheet function allows users to share selected church details easily.
